This rotor is mounted on a finely engineered main shaft supported by special, low-friction, high-accuracy ball bearings. The turbine wheel, equipped with helical blades set at a precisely defined angle to the gas flow, converts the velocity of the gas into rotational speed. The angular velocity of the turbine wheel is directly proportional to the flow rate of the gas, providing accurate and consistent measurement.
